Formula One World Champion Lando Norris has received heartfelt praise from old school who shared photos of the star pupil.
The 26-year-old race ace secured the title with a third place finish at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
In honour of the Bristol-born racer winning McLaren their first title since 2008 – Norris’ former school have celebrated their ex-pupils’ win.

Millfield Senior School in Street, Somerset, shared old images of the F1 icon during his Year Four days.
The images taken in 2007 show an eight-year-old Norris with his classmates.
The McLaren driver attended the school from Year Two to Year 10, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Norris won the title by two points ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen on Sunday (7 Dec).
Following Norris’ win, he has now become the 11th British F1 world champion.
A spokesperson for Millfield Senior School said: “Huge congratulations to OM Lando Norris who has won the 2025 Formula One World Championships in Abu Dhabi.
“Lando becomes the 11th GBR athlete to win the championships, and is the first GB driver to win the Championship since Lewis Hamilton in 2020.
“He claims McLaren’s first win since 2008.
“Lando was at Millfield for eight years, from Year Two to Year 10.”
