Bellyboarders from all over the globe came together to take part in this year’s world championships.
In the footage you can see competitors braving the chilly sea conditions to show off their skills.
Due to the poor wave conditions on Saturday (14 Sept), the competition was moved to yesterday (15 Sept).

The championships are hosted by Dick Pearce bellyboards with support from Newquay Boardriders club.
Based in the area Dick Pearce and Friends are a company devoted to making long lasting sustainable products for bellyboarding.
The team build wooden bellyboards and beach goods in their workshop at Hope Yard, Newquay.
The video showcases the good, the bad and the ugly side of the sport with tricks and crashes making for an entertaining day.
The championships were hosted on the Great Western Beach in Newquay, Cornwall as reported by What’s The Jam.
The heat’s for both the men, women and children kicked off at 9:30am with the finals starting at 2:20pm.
Each wave the contestant caught was scored out of ten with judges looking for contestants to show their skills and style on the board.
