British mother Melissa Sloane, known for her extensive tattoo collection exceeding 800, has attracted attention for her unconventional appearance.
Sloane, residing in Kidderminster, garnered viral fame for her frequent tattoo additions, averaging three designs weekly using her personal tattoo gun. Recently, feeling ostracized due to her ink, Sloane opted to conceal her tattoos with makeup, drastically altering her appearance in photos.
However, despite her efforts, Sloane’s children and boyfriend, Luke, 56, expressed disapproval, even refusing to communicate with her until she removed the makeup.
Sloane acknowledges the preference for her tattoo-free appearance but asserts that her tattoos remain an integral part of her identity. “People think I look better without tattoos but they [the tattoos] aren’t going anywhere,” Sloane told What’sTheJam.com.

“When I tried to hide the ink with makeup, my kids didn’t talk to me all day. They didn’t like it,” Melissa revealed. “My boyfriend didn’t like it either.” Despite her children’s affection for her appearance, which she acknowledges as “crazy,”
Melissa, a mother of seven, has faced ridicule in the past, dubbed “Crayola” due to her colorful tattoos resembling crayon markings.
To evade unwanted attention or remarks, Melissa has started wearing makeup more frequently, spending around 30 minutes applying foundation to conceal her most prominent tattoos before venturing out.
“I do it most of the time now as I love wearing makeup. It really depends on my mood,” Melissa shared. “I just like being crazy and having fun in my life, I’m not being boring.

I really liked the look [of the makeup], that’s all that matters.” Melissa, previously discussing her social challenges with NeedToKnow.co.uk, lamented being excluded from parties due to her appearance.
Additionally, she disclosed the physical toll of her extensive tattooing, noting skin damage and scarring resulting from ink that fails to heal properly.
Expressing frustration over being barred from establishments like pubs, Melissa highlighted her prolific tattoo collection of 800, acquired through frequent sessions, some administered by her partner Luke.

Determined to continue adding to her ink collection, Melissa affirmed her commitment to tattoos, both professionally and self-administered, asserting, “I will never stop having tattoos until the end.”
