Fancy spending the night with a Shetland pony?
Well, now you can – with a quirky Airbnb offering a ‘sleepover’ with adorable miniature horse Basil.
The farm stay, in Thurgarton, Nottinghamshire, boasts a single bedroom in ‘Basil’s Barn’, situated on the grounds of a 17th-century manor.
While it’s surrounded by a picturesque 60-acre estate, it’s what’s inside the barn that attracts visitors far and wide.
The bedroom features one double bed and two singles in a bunk bed, as well as a large living area, a full kitchen, and a bathroom.

Smack bang in the middle of the room is an open wall showing the humble stable lodgings of the resident miniature Shetland, Basil.
In pictures of the listing, which featured on What’s The Jam, the sweet animal can be seen poking his head over the barn into the room.
Guests are asked to turn off Basil’s light before going to bed.
They are advised that the pony will be there when they arrive and throughout the night for a “sleepover”, before being collected from the stable in the morning to go back to his field.
The teeny horse is described as “very cheeky”, bossing around his two best friends out in the field, Benji and Oscar.
The popular listing has garnered hundreds of reviews, averaging 4.94 out of five stars on Airbnb, where you can book a stay in Basil’s Barn for around £200 a night.
