Sadly, Roger passed away last year at the age of 87, leaving behind his wife, Natalie O’Brien, two sons, Guy and Alexander, and three daughters, Emily, Lauren and Jessica.

Prior to his death, the singer lived in a house located in the picturesque market town of Montaigu-de-Quercy, in southern France.

It boasts 500 sq m of living space, a terrace with views across the countryside, five bedrooms, a library and a music studio.

Its grand staircase, with luxurious deep red carpet, leads from the hallway and splits the ground floor in two.

One side follows a sumptuous living room with a fireplace and wood burner, access to the terrace, and the first of two master suites, complete with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom.

There is also a second master bedroom with a generous en-suite bathroom.

If you don’t want to take the stairs, there is a lift connecting to the upper floors where you’ll find a third en-suite, plus two more bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Descending to the lower level reveals another living area and library with a grand fireplace and beautiful, custom-built shelves, as reported by What’s The Jam.

An imposing, sophisticated space it also offers a cosy sanctuary for quiet evenings and gatherings.

It has been said that the library was one of Roger’s favourite rooms as it also has direct access to his private music studio.

All the rooms boast stunning views of the village or surrounding hillside and this uniquely designed home is a testament to fine living.

Full of character, it is an enchanting blend of opulence and style. Not to mention a rich provenance as the former residence of the renowned British musician.
