A dual-property, luxury ‘compound’ with indoor basketball court and 750-gallon shark tank is on the market for a staggering £77.8m (USD$99.5M).
Standing on a private peninsula that stretches over 21 acres of manicured grounds, a total of 24 bedrooms and 38 bathrooms are shared among the two residences.
Located in Water Mill South, in the super-affluent Hamptons, US, it offers breathtaking ocean views, 3,100 ft of exclusive shoreline and access to Mecox Bay via a private dock.

Plus a profusion of amenities.
The waterfront-facing mansion, the slightly smaller of the two at a whopping 17,000 sq ft, boasts a tennis court, gym, pool and spa, two-storey pool house and deck.
The second inland home, at 28,000 sq ft, was made for entertaining. For the sporty there’s an indoor basketball court, pool and pro-standard gym and for friends and family time a games room with billiards, and two-lane bowling alley. Outdoors there’s a pergola, moat and fire pit.
For those who prefer slightly more sedentary pastimes, there’s a 14-seat movie theatre and perhaps the most-standout feature of the lot, a 750-gallon shark tank.
This is only the second time these properties, with a combined 45,000 sq ft of living space, have been sold as ‘one’, as reported on What’s The Jam.
In late 2021, Philadelphia real-estate developer Michael Karp purchased the estate for an eye-watering £92.7m (USD$118.5m) – the second most-expensive home sale witnessed in the Hamptons.
The following spring, he put 71 Cobb Lane, the smaller of the two, up for sale and a year later, No 70, which was also available to rent during the summer season.
But now, they’re back on the market together as one compound home.
