Fancy living with a few ghosts?
Now’s your chance to bag a former mortuary studio.
The property, now named ‘Lillian’s House’, is located in Exeter, Devon.
And, it’s part of an old Victorian hospital, halfway through ‘consented redevelopment’ into an office.

But, are you brave enough to bare all and get stuck into decorating where spirits dance?
It’s set to be sold by auction by Countrywide Property Auctions, reports What’s The Jam.
It’s a steal too, with a starting price of just £50,000.
It currently comes complete with two floors and access to a patio near the front door.

There is also a proposed kitchen area, with endless opportunities to turn this space into your own.
The ground floor consists of a cloakroom, a meeting room, and even a bike store alongside the kitchen.
Upstairs, you’ll find the office space, with huge windows and an abundance of light.

It’s got great transport links too, with three stations nearby and access to the M5 motorway.
But, despite the building’s potential- some people online aren’t entirely convinced.
“North Grange forms part of a former Victorian hospital, conveniently situated for access to the M5, the Park & Ride service AND HORRIFIC SCREAMING GHOULS,” commented one user.
Another user joked: “You’d be quicker listing the ghosts not haunting that building.”
“It’s got a lot of potential. I have my eye on the Mortuary chapels where I live- the neighbours are dead silent,” quipped someone else.
“Want,” said another user.
One user added: “I live in an old vicarage. It would be great to have the old mortuary as my postal address instead as it’s much more unique. Imagine the fun you could have with smart lights and guests!”
The auction is due to take place on Thursday 23 May 2024.
