An urban explorer has discovered ‘untouched treasure’ in the form of an abandoned church which has been left to rot.
Dave, who is known online as Dave Freaktography, shared his find with his 94,000 subscribers.
The professional explorer was stunned by the church’s beauty, as well as the size and its secret, hidden rooms.

He begins by sharing the inside of the sanctuary which boasts stunning stained glass windows.
Originally designed on an Akron Plan, Dave also came across a non-operational Moller organ.
“I’m so sorry that I can’t play The Phantom of the Opera for you.
“Join us as we step into this abandoned church, a breathtaking piece of architecture with a rich history and endless possibilities,” Dave, who is from the USA, wrote in the caption.
“This stunning example of abandoned America sits quietly among abandoned places in the USA, waiting to tell its story.

“Originally designed on the ‘Akron Plan’, the open-concept interior offers incredible flexibility for future use.
“[It has] three balconies, original brass light fixtures, and even a bell tower that could be converted into an elevator shaft.
“The building also features a large basement fellowship hall, multiple decorative fireplaces, and a two-car garage.”

Throughout Dave’s time at the church, he regularly comments on how large the property is.
Despite the place having suffered some water damage, and parts of the ceiling crumbling in places, Dave felt that the church was in pretty good nick.
The oak hardwood floors were in ‘near-perfect condition’, and he really admired the intricate plasterwork.
As well as the sanctuary, the explorer discovered small hidden rooms scattered throughout the church, separated by narrow, winding staircases.
He came across a fireplace, and a toilet, as well as heaps of dust, which had gathered due to the building being left alone.
Dave also went right up to the top of the church, heading into the attic where he found a can of Coca Cola left on the floor.
“Over the years, millions of dollars were invested in modernizing the property with updated heating systems, modern electric service, and roof maintenance,” Dave continued.
“Despite this, it now joins the ranks of abandoned untouched treasures, representing the forgotten beauty of abandoned New York.”
Viewers of Dave’s video loved taking an exclusive peek inside the abandoned church, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Many YouTube users felt that the church was too beautiful to have been deserted.
