With temperatures set to soar in the UK again this weekend, the Asian elephants at Whipsnade zoo are cooling off in style, using their own private pool.
Two-year-old Nang Phaya, the youngest member of the herd, can be seen gleefully wading into the water before totally submerging herself to get some reprieve from the heat.
She can then be seen playfully scooping gallons of water into her mouth to quench her thirst.

The other pachyderms in the herd can be seen following her, including a 4.5 tonne bull elephant called Ming Jung, also taking the plunge.
They completed their cooling session with a shower from the Elephant keeper Emily Hanley, swaying their heads from side to side to fully enjoy their bathing session.
Other giant members of nature such as giraffes and white rhinos can also be found at the Zoo in Bedfordshire.
There are over 11,000 animals to see and 600-acres to explore meaning Whipsnade Zoo is the perfect day out for all of the family this summer.
