Garage mechanics were left stunned after finding a tiny kitten trapped underneath metal brake test rollers during a routine MoT.
They first thought they were hearing things when they heard meowing coming from a piece of machinery.
But after further inspection, they discovered a furry moggie wedged in a rolling road brake test.

Also known as a roller brake test, the piece of equipment is used to measure the braking efficiency of a vehicle by simulating real-world braking conditions.
The animal was rescued without any injuries and was later adopted by the vet who checked her over, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesman for Elite Garages, Maidstone, Kent said: “Recently during what should have been a typical MoT check, mechanics heard a strange sound echoing through the garage.
“Used to the usual whir of machinery and hum of engines, the team wasn’t sure what to make of it.
“This wasn’t a rattle or squeak; it was a meow.

“Determined to get to the bottom of it, the team began their search, following the tiny cries all the way to their rolling road brake tester.
“And there, wedged between the rollers was the tiniest kitten anyone had seen.
“The mechanics sprang into action, maneouvring the kitten out from her automotive predicament.

“She emerged unharmed, though probably a little confused as to how she’d ended up there in the first place.
“The Elite team then took their new friend to the vet, where she got a clean bill of health and her first round of vaccinations.
“The vet, utterly charmed by her cuteness, offered to adopt her on the spot.
“So, in a matter of hours, she went from trapped in the brake tester to having her own forever home.”
