This is the hilarious moment a monkey uses a builders’ rope to abseil down a block of flats.
Footage shows the adventurous animal perched on the edge of a high-rise balcony before reaching out and grabbing one of two ropes dangling down the building.
It then launches itself onto the rope and deftly slides towards the ground in a move straight out of Mission: Impossible.

The monkey even curls its tail around the second rope for support as it alternates between sliding and clambering down several storeys.
The bizarre scenes were filmed at a housing complex in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday (6 September), as reported by What’s The Jam.
After completing its “mission”, the monkey simply went on its way.
Viewers were left in stitches by the primate’s impressive stunt.
One person said: “Special operations course.”

Another person wrote: “He teaches people how to steal.”
A third person added: “You’ve got to get this monkey to help the police with undercover operations in high-risk locations.”

Primates are increasingly being spotted in urban areas across Brazil.

Environmental authorities advise people not to touch, feed or attempt to capture the animals.
Residents are also urged to keep doors and windows closed, avoid leaving food exposed and disinfect areas with hypochlorite if a monkey enters their home.
