Brooks was woken up by the cattle in the middle of the night on Wednesday (Nov 13).
When he checked the footage on his phone, he spotted the bovines making themselves at home.
“They were from a ranch not too far from my neighbourhood and had escaped from a broken fence,” Brooks, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, US said.

“A gate or fence was down due to a car crash and the cattle escaped.
“I heard the cows around midnight.
“We sleep with our windows open.
“They were mooing and it was very loud, that was what woke me up.”
In the one-minute-42 second clip, one cow can be seen approaching the front door before the whole herd followED suit.

The herd sniffed the door and plants while mooing loudly, What’s the Jam.
Cows have excellent night vision but usually sleep from dusk till dawn.
