They are currently being looked after by the RSPCA at its branch in Rochdale, Gtr Man’s.
Chan Taylor, Animal Centre Manager, said: “Could you offer these birds their forever ‘presidential suite’?
“Lovebirds make wonderful pets, they are social, affectionate and incredibly intelligent so they need lots of enrichment to remain healthy and happy.
“This delightful pair is sure to add some colour to your life.
“While they are still a little bit nervous around people, being cared for in a new home will make all the difference.”
A spokesperson for the animal charity made light of the 78-year-old US President’s ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan.
They said: If you would like to make life great again.
“Adopt this pair.”
Locals loved the cheeky monikers, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Elaine Waldron joked: “They look friendlier than their namesakes.”
Natasha Akhtar added: “The names are hilarious.
“And they are absolutely beautiful.”
Keeley Love said: “I would love these.”
The spokesperson added: “The RSPCA recommends that captive birds are housed in an aviary where possible.
“But, if kept in a cage, it is essential that bird owners allow the opportunity for free flight daily by providing time outside the cage to carry out this natural behaviour.
“Anyone letting a pet bird have free flight within a house should ensure windows and doors are secured first, to prevent accidental escape.”
