A fisherman was hailed a hero after jumping into a net full of fish in his underwear to rescue a trapped dolphin.
Dražen Arković spotted the entangled cetacean while he and his colleagues were fishing for sardines and anchovies one morning earlier this month (Jun).
A colleague filmed as Dražen – wearing a pink T-shirt, white briefs and black socks – climbed onto the gunwale and sat down.

His legs could be seen dangling over a net teeming with live fish, while countless seagulls circled a short distance above.
Moments later, Dražen let himself drop, landing in the middle of the writhing mass of fish with a splash.
He swam through the shoal to reach the dolphin, while one of his colleagues leaned over the deck with an animal grabber.
Dražen briefly lost sight of the cetacean, but when it resurfaced seconds later, he wrapped his arms around it.
His head disappeared underwater for a moment as he wrestled with the large, powerful mammal.
Eventually, he managed to lift it and guide it over the edge of the net, back into open waters, as reported by Whats The Jam.
He could be seen punching the air in celebration as his colleagues cheered from the boat.
One viewer commented online: “Some heroes wear capes… some wear tighty whities!”
Another wrote: “It’s going in with the socks that has me.”
A third quipped: “You know he meant business when he got down to his tighty whities.”
“I thought he was going to do one of those fish pedicure things, but his whole body,” said a fourth.
And a fifth joked: “So that’s why I got a hair in my tuna can.”
