An owner was left shocked after her dog leaped into the ocean and began swimming with a lone dolphin.
Gillian Dunne-Richards, 41, always wanted a pooch that loved the water as much as she does.
But Triton, a Springador – a cross between a Springer Spaniel and a Labrador Retriever – has taken that passion to a whole new level.

The four-year-old was recently out on their family boat, enjoying a relaxing day, when he spotted something lurking in the ocean.
Suddenly, a fin popped out and Triton leaped right after it – much to the shock of Gillian.
“He always spots them before we do,” the holiday cottage owner, from Torquay, Devon, told What’s The Jam.
“Triton has a very high pitched cry – it’s an excited thing he does when he spots them – and it’s almost like they can hear him.
“He just goes crazy with excitement and wants to get in the water.
“We’re always worried, as they are wild animals and can be very unpredictable.”
In the clip, taken on 27 September, Triton’s tail wags profusely as the dolphin swims right next to their boat.
He leans over the edge before leaping off into the ocean.
The pooch is brought back on board – and then he’s off again.
Triton and the dolphin are seen swimming side-by-side as they glide through the sea together.
Gillian added: “He has always had a connection with dolphins and we regularly take the boat out.
“Our favourite thing is seeing them and we’ve had so many encounters along our coastline.
“Triton also loves seals; though he does listen when we tell him ‘no’ and will always recall no matter how excited he is.
“He is really the most incredible pooch with everyone and everything.”
