Four adorable pups are hoping for their own fairy-tale ending after being dealt a “ruff” start in life when their mum rejected them.
Bonnie, Dolly, Hamm and Rex were named after beloved characters from the Toy Story films and are now searching for loving forever homes.
The youngsters were taken into care after their owners were left unsure how to look after them when their mother sadly rejected the litter at just five weeks old.

Now the eight-week-old Cane Corso cross Mastiff puppies are being cared for at The Ark, near Portsmouth, Hants, while they wait to find new families, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Spokesperson Harry Foster said: “It was incredibly sad when these sweet little pups were rejected by their mum, but our amazing team jumped into action and, amazingly, within just 24 hours, we managed to find experienced foster carers.
“We’d like to thank the fosterers who took care of our pups in home environments, helping to ensure they had the right early life experiences, which are so important for their development.
“Now they’re ready for a new chapter and we’re reaching for the sky, and aiming to find them the very best forever homes.”
Despite their difficult start, staff say the playful pups have blossomed in foster care and are full of character.

Harry said the litter all have their own unique personalities.
He said: “The puppies are all really playful and love to run around together, play tug, and then crash out on your lap for a snuggly snooze.
“They generally take most things in their stride, although Bonnie and Dolly can be a little nervous in new situations.

“Hamm and Rex are both full of beans, although Rex can be a little unsettled when he’s on his own, so his new family will need to help him with this.”
The rescue centre says it is fairly flexible about the types of homes the puppies could go to.
Harry added: “We’d ideally like them to go to families with older children and, preferably, to adults with experience around large breed dogs.
“The future is so bright for these wonderful pups; it’s a case of ‘to infinity and beyond’ once they’ve got homes to call their own.”
