A brazen thief has been caught sneaking into a neighbour’s place and swiping items for himself.
The culprit then unashamedly took the prize back to his own den to show off to his partner.
But it didn’t ruffle any feathers… because the perpetrator was a penguin.

The incident happened at Newquay Zoo in Cornwall, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesperson said: “Oreo, one of our cheeky, resident penguins, has been caught on camera stealing pebbles from his neighbour’s nest as breeding season gets underway.
“It was in a bid to impress his mate.
“Penguins build their nests from carefully selected stones during breeding season.
“The best pebbles help keep eggs dry and elevated, so competition can get surprisingly intense.

“Oreo is seven years old.
“He and his girlfriend, Humbug, had a chick last year.”
The 15 Humboldt penguins at Newquay Zoo are classified as vulnerable in the wild due to threats from overfishing, pollution and climate change.
