A DEER turned into a BOXER and pummelled a stunned man on a beach.
The wild animal forced the fella into submission in front of laughing onlookers.
The deer appeared frightened on the sand as several people surrounded it to film with their phones.
A heavyset man approaches the deer to stroke it, but the animal rears up on its hind legs and lashes out with its forelimbs like a boxing kangaroo.

The man is seen overwhelmed by the furious animal and he crashes to the sand while trying to protect himself.
He gets to his feet and backpedals away, but the animal launches a fresh attack and the man is knocked to the sand again.
Meanwhile, several onlookers are heard erupting in laughter at the man’s plight.
The deer continues to attack him on the ground and at one point a young girl comes to his aid with a paddle in her hand.
The animal apparently knocks the paddle away and the youngster scarpers.
Another beachgoer takes the paddle and manages to scare the deer away.
The cameraperson goes to check on the man on the ground and he appears to see the funny side, despite being somewhat shocked by the intensity of the attack.
The bizarre encounter was filmed at Playa Curú in the Curú Wildlife Refuge in western Costa Rica on Sunday (2 Jun).
The refuge is known for its rich biodiversity and wild animals, including white-tailed deer and 78 other species of mammals, 232 types of birds and 87 reptilian species.
Fortunately, no one was reported as injured in the attack on Sunday, as reported by What’s the Jam.
The man, named as Juan Pérez, said the incident happened while he was visiting the national park with family members.
One local commented: “This guy’s misfortune has made everyone’s day, hahaha.”
Omar said: “The deer won easily, lol.”
Blanca remarked: “The deer could have sliced the man with its hooves as they are as sharp as a razor.”
