A pair of show-off dolphins performed amazing acrobatics at a beauty spot for the crew of a passing steamboat.
The intelligent sea mammals leapt from the water in front of the heritage vessel’s bow.
In a clip, the captain is heard honking the boat’s foghorn to warn off the friendly dolphins as they are very close to the bow.

The magical scene was filmed from the shore by enchanted Elaine O’Reilly.
She said she felt very lucky to have seen it.
Footage showed the animals and the steamboat Vic 32 off Wemyss Bay at the Firth of Clyde, near Glasgow.
The boat is one of the last steam-powered traditional Clyde Puffer cargo vessels.
It is now used for leisure trips, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Elaine said: “What an encounter.
“The dolphins ditched their original path to turn around and enjoy riding with Vic 32.
“They had been pretty subdued and then decided to show off when the boat arrived.

“And what a display they gave her.
“They’re just lovely. They’re complete show-offs when they know they’re being watched.
“They are part of a resident pod of five bottlenose dolphins.
“They appear every week or so.
“They originally came from the Moray Firth and have settled here.
“They arrived in 2021 and have since had two calves with us on the Clyde.”
