A woman who has spent four years and thousands of pounds to fix her broken smile has been left heartbroken after a piece of soft bread split her tooth in half.
Faith Hill has been on a rocky journey in a quest to fix her smile over the past four years.
After being left with no teeth due to rot, she required dental implants.

While the 25-year-old’s new smile at first appeared picture-perfect, she was soon forced to shell out “thousands” to keep them in good shape.
Most recently, she cracked one of her dodgy gnashers in half while eating a “soft piece of bread”.
Faith shared a video of the experience on TikTok, where it has racked up over one million views.
“I’ve struggled with so many different issues throughout this process,” Faith, who lives in St Louis, Missouri, US, told What’s The Jam.
“I am really hoping I get back into loving my smile and feeling like it is my smile and not someone else’s smile in my mouth.

“I have been through so many pairs of teeth that I’m starting to forget what I look like.
“The slightest change in the way the teeth are made, makes a huge difference, at least to me.”
Breaking a tooth on a piece of bread is only the latest challenge Faith has faced.

Sharing the update in a TikTok with her three million followers, she said: “It broke all the way down and around, in the same spot [as last time].
“I don’t know if everything I’ve been going through is normal, because I see other people’s journeys and it is not like mine at all.
“I have quite literally been through the worst of what I can imagine.
“At least it’s not spinning around in my mouth – yet.”
Social media users have been left horrified by the dodgy tooth job.
One person commented: “Oh no, teeth are very expensive.”
“My worst fear,” another user wrote.
Someone else said: “Omg the way I gasped.”
“Ouchhhh!!!” another person added.
Faith has been sober since 2020, after becoming hooked on meth at the age of 14.
A side effect of her drug abuse was tooth decay, which forced her to have her teeth removed and replaced with dentures.
She then went on to have her dental implants fitted.
Faith is now facing having surgery once again, this time to place another implant in her lower left jaw – the side that continuously cracks.
She should eventually have a permanent set of implants fitted, which will be made from zirconia – a much stronger material that is less likely to break.
Faith’s issues tend to be on her lower left side, where the implant and bone graft didn’t take as well as they did on the right.
The issue previously left a large hole in her mouth that collected food and became infected – which she says caused an “unbearable amount of pain”.
She has been left with nerve damage and, after spending “thousands of dollars” travelling to appointments around the country, is now being treated locally while she awaits her permanent set of implants.
Faith added: “I am so ready to have my final set of teeth, a set of teeth that don’t crack because my bite isn’t right or something’s not right.”
