A bargain hunter was stunned to find a stunning designer dress “in perfect condition” hidden in her local thrift store.
The shop is typically home to basic staples and pre-loved clothing, instead of items that would have once graced the runway.
But Vanessa Nagel got more than she bargained for when she visited her local secondhand shop for a browse.

Hidden on a rail of children’s clothing was a pink dogtooth dress by the luxury brand Miu Miu.
In a TikTok that has garnered 274,000 views, a visibly shocked Vanessa, a stylist in her 30s, shared the incredible find.
She says: “I’m freaking out.
“I’ve been thrifting by myself – it’s half off day – but this isn’t half off…I think I just found Miu Miu.
“[It’s a] perfect condition dress.
“I’m not sure, I’m freaking out.”
Upon closer inspection, Vanessa checks the label to confirm it is, indeed, from the designer brand.
Featuring a pinafore shape with pink and white dogtooth pattern, and jewels embellishing the straps and chest, the dress has a label with the brand’s name and ‘Made in Italy’ stitching.
According to the label, it appears to have been listed for just $9 – despite Miu Miu dresses often retailing for thousands of dollars.
Vanessa looks visibly shocked, before snapping it up and trying it on – with the dress a perfect fit.
The TikTok garnered 15,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
One person wrote: “I literally need this.”
“One of those “put it in the cart” moments,” another user agreed.
Someone else commented: “That is insane.”
“It screams Barbie,” another wrote.
One user added: “Omg I’m screaming for you and it fits! Gorg.”
It’s not the first time Vanessa has snapped up an incredible designer bargain.
She previously made headlines after find a vintage Gucci dress for $29 in her local thrift store – despite currently retailing at $4,000 online by secondhand sellers.
The Los Angeles-based bargain hunter told What’s The Jam: “Honestly, I was like ‘This probably isn’t real’.
“But I threw it in my cart anyway to investigate.
“I could not believe it was a Gucci Tom Ford 1998 dress.”
