A thrifty shopper has shown off her unbelievable food haul from Olio after she was left with bags of bread and burgers to dish out to her community.
TikTok bargain hunter Carbootisful explained she’d signed up as a volunteer on the food-sharing app, which lets people collect unwanted food from your door to stop it going to waste.
But this time her collection was so huge she ended up with far more grub than she ever expected, as reported by What’s the Jam.

Sharing her “crazy” haul online, she said: “Why did I get left with so much stuff from this Oleo collection?
“You can sign up to be a volunteer and then give this food out in your local community. You post it online and people basically collect from your door if you haven’t used Oleo before.
“It’s fantastic.
“I got left with so much of this bread and a couple of these burgers actually as well.”
Despite being swamped with surplus supplies, she was thrilled to rescue the food, especially as much of it was well-known branded stuff.
Puzzled but pleased, she said: “Why do you think I had no collectors? Do people not eat bread anymore?
“I mean you can freeze it so it feels like it’s still good.
“This is why Oleo is great though because all of this stuff would have gone in the bin.
“Look how many loaves of bread that I had. It was crazy.
“People didn’t even want to buy this stuff for only pennies.”
Her monster haul meant she could fill her freezer and share the rest around her neighbourhood.
She added: “[There are] some pretty good brands here as well maybe because people go away for the weekend, I don’t know.
“But make sure you try Olio – it’s fantastic.”
