Kendal Calling 2024 transformed Lowther Deer Park into a festival town, welcoming 40,000 attendees and great artists for four days of music and fun amidst the stunning Cumbrian hills.
Thursday: A Perfect Kickoff
The festival kicked off on Thursday with a bang. Paul Heaton and Rianne Downey wowed the crowd with their performances. Earlier in the day, Declan McKenna had everyone dancing to his mix of old hits and new songs.

Friday: Rock Legends
Friday was a dream come true for rock fans. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds delivered a headline performance that will be remembered for years. The day also featured exciting new artists like CMAT, Flowerovlove, and DEADLETTER, alongside big names like Keane and The Snuts.

Saturday: Take me back to the 00’s Sound
Saturday was all about high-energy performances. The Streets had everyone’s energy high with crowd surfing and their famous “Dry Your Eyes Mate” and “Who’s Got the Bag.”
The Lightning Seeds, Kate Nash, and Peace took us back with their beloved tracks. Russell Howard had everyone laughing, while the Sugababes kept the energy high with their classic pop hits like “Push the Button,” “Too Lost In You,” and “Round Round.”
Heather Small had the entire crowd moving with “Moving on Up” and her iconic noughties hit “Proud.”

Sunday: Paolo Fever
Sunday started with a bang as the Lancashire Hotpots brought the house down with their hilarious “Egg Sausage Chips and Beans,” getting the whole crowd moving and raising the energy levels high.
One festivalgoer said, “If they don’t make you want a chippy tea, I don’t know what will.”
Gary Neville made his festival debut with a DJ set alongside Tim Burgess. Manchester’s own Pale Waves got funky and kept the crowd moving. The day also saw amazing performances from Revival, Royal Otis, and Red Rum Club.
The iconic Paolo Nutini finished the festival with a mesmerising performance, delivering emotional renditions of “Last Request” and “Iron Sky.” His soulful singing provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable festival.

Excitement for Kendal Calling 2025
As Kendal Calling looks ahead to its 20th anniversary, anticipation is high for next year’s event, scheduled for July 31 to August 3, 2025. Tickets go on sale at 10 am on August 8, 2024, with prices staying the same as this year, so mark your calendars!
Kendal Calling co-founder Andy Smith thanked everyone who attended, celebrating the festival’s sense of community and joy. He praised the incredible lineup and hinted that this year might have been the best yet.
