A mum who just can’t get enough of Christmas has already transformed her home into a winter wonderland – and she doesn’t care what trolls think.
Charlotte Chandler has gone all out for the festive season, filling her house with sparkling decorations, glittering lights and no less than five Christmas trees – with another one still to come.
While most people are still packing away their summer clothes, the 36-year-old started decking the halls on 27 September.

Three large trees now take pride of place downstairs, while her children’s bedrooms each boast their own mini versions.
“I absolutely love Christmas,” Charlotte, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, told What’s The Jam.

“With the amount of time I spend decorating, I don’t see the point in having them up for only a few weeks.
“My kids have been begging me to put them up.”
The Christmas-mad mum started early because she loves the season and wants to enjoy her hard work for longer.

But there’s more to it than that.
With rheumatoid arthritis making it harder to decorate as the weather gets colder, Charlotte decided to get a head start while she could.
She said: “I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, so it takes quite a while to do.

“My hands get worse in the colder months, so I find it easier to decorate around this time.
“I normally wait until late October or early November, but we have a few holidays planned, so I’d find it difficult to do them closer to the time.”
Charlotte admits this year feels especially emotional because she lost her dad on Christmas Day last year.
But she’s determined to keep the magic alive for her children.
And despite some online trolls mocking her for putting the decorations up so early, Charlotte refuses to let them spoil her joy.
She has also received huge support from fellow Christmas lovers online, and says the negative comments don’t bother her one bit.
She said: “The support online has been absolutely amazing.
“I get some negative comments, but those people never know the full story.
“I only share what I want to.
“People’s comments don’t bother me; some are just rude.
“You can easily spot the trolls with fake names and no profile pictures and I just laugh at them.

“Imagine living a life behind a computer just to spread hate – it’s awful that people are still allowed to do this nowadays.
“Something really needs to be done. If people took that kind of hate to heart, it could seriously affect them mentally.
“But it doesn’t bother me – I’ll just keep posting more!”
