Elisabeth Rioux, who has 1.3 million Instagram followers, told male critics to look at their own hairy profiles before commenting on hers.
The photos were taken on a trip to Italy with her partner Mason and young daughter Wolfie.
The influencer, who comes from Quebec in Canada, posted images showing her natural leg hair.

Elisabeth, the owner of the swimwear brand Hoaka, snapped back when male followers criticised her look.
She said: “I am posting this after all the excessive reactions to my post yesterday from men who described it as ‘disgusting’ or ‘dirty’ even though I can see on their profiles that they are much hairier than me.
“Guys, it’s not that important, I’ll keep it simple: shaving takes time, for some of us it grows back quickly, when it grows back it’s sensitive and painful – especially in salt water!
“More importantly: it’s MY body.
“Also, a special thank you to all the girls who supported me here; I didn’t think it would make people react so much, and it just proves that equality of standards for women/men has not arrived yet.”
In a follow-up post, she added: “Imagine that you are simply living your life in Italy, on a boat, with the family of your dreams, while 7 million people debate your hairy legs.
“Honestly, thank god for not being 16 anymore, Elisabeth, because it would have completely ruined my holiday, and probably my whole month.
“Today I couldn’t care less, because I’ve received all kinds of comments my whole life and, frankly, I have better things to do.
“What matters most to me is the example I give to my little Wolfie, who is already quite hairy.”
Support poured in from other women, with many praising her for rejecting beauty rules that demand smooth legs.
She noted that male critics often face no such pressure.
Rioux has shown natural leg hair before, as reported by What’s The Jam.
In 2018, posted photos of her growing leg hair on Instagram and described it as a “personal challenge” she was undertaking.
She posted a video showing her leg hair in winter earlier this year.
And in March, she shared another travel video where her legs were visibly unshaven.
She said at the time: “Men hate my hairy legs because they can’t even keep their own hairline.”
In 2024, she starred in the Prime Video six-episode series Elisabeth Rioux Unfiltered.
The docuseries showed the behind-the-scenes reality of her life as an entrepreneur, influencer, and single mother after separating from Wolfie’s father Bryan McCormick.
