A Brit has gone viral after revealing how she dresses up her new-build home for spooky season – complete with an enormous skeleton that set her back more than £250.
Kirsty Johnson takes Halloween very seriously, trimming up “like an American” to celebrate the holiday.
Despite living on a new-build estate, the 30-year-old has added an injection of her own personal taste onto her street with the elaborate display.

As well as pumpkins littering her doorstep and miniature skeletons ‘climbing’ up her pipes, Kirsty keeps pride of place for something extra creepy.
The skeleton stands at five foot tall, with the torso poking out of the ‘ground’, along with climbing arms and a huge head – plus unsettling blinking eyes.
A video of her ‘American’-style décor has gone viral on TikTok, garnering 680,000 views.
Kirsty, who lives in the UK alongside long-time partner Tommy and their dog, Luna, spent £259.99, including delivery, on the Costco purchase, which she stores in her garage outside of October.
In the clip, Kirsty and Tommy can be seen putting ‘Skelly’ up, while Luna barks at the eerie display.
One user commented: “Your house is going to be THE Halloween house.”
“Omgosh that’s amazing the eyes,” another viewer agreed.
Someone else added: “Love it. We need more homes like this.”
Another person wrote: “We need more of this in the UK.”
Meanwhile, an expat from the US now living in the UK said she “approves”.
