Jo said: “I can’t believe I didn’t know about this and as soon as I found out I applied straight away.
“It’s really straightforward to do and most people can do it and the £40 rewards voucher is just the start.
“There are ways to earn even more rewards including earning about 32 free coffees a year.
“You have to apply for the M&S rewards credit card and then if you spend £150 in two or more transactions in the first three months of having the credit card you will earn £40 in rewards into your digital wallet.
“You can simply do your weekly shop using your M&S credit card for the first couple of weeks and they will just give you £40 in rewards.
“In addition to that every time you spend on your credit card you will earn more more rewards going forwards.
“Once you have an M&S credit card you can then apply for membership for even more benefits including free coffees in their café throughout the year.
“I’m not an advocate of building up deby on credit cards but if you can pay off a credit card each month that is the best way to do this otherwise the benefits are not going to be as great as you first think.”
And viewers loved the tip.
One said: “If I already have an M&S credit card does this apply (why did I not know this) or do I have to apply for a new one?”
Another said: “I saved my vouchers last year for Xmas I got £240 towards my Xmas food shopping which made life a lot easier.”
While a third said: “Done this for 1 year now, yes it’s true for £10 a month you get £120 back in vouchers so that’s your money back.
“And whatever you spend on M&S credit card you get more vouchers to spend , it’s a no brainer.
“Best credit card I’ve ever had.”
