An outspoken mum is moving to the US for a better life but is leaving her teenage children behind – saying they are “old enough to sort themselves out”.
Earlier this year, Carla Bellucci, who is also known as “Britain’s most hated woman”, divulged her plans to move from Hertfordshire to Florida following Trump’s landslide win.
The 42-year-old has now booked flights to visit the state and find her new permanent home this summer.

But two of her kids – Jayden, 17 and Tanisha, 19 – won’t be joining her.
“Kids these days need to get a grip,” the former glamour model told What’s The Jam.
“I left home at 16 and both Jayden and Tanisha are mature enough to go out and get a boyfriend or girlfriend – so they’re old enough to sort themselves out when I leave for the US.
“She’s a grown woman and he’s a grown man as far as I’m concerned.
“They don’t want to come with me anyway, as they love the UK.

“If they wish, they can spend the summer in the US but they’re very independent and like their own lives.
“They love me as their mum but don’t want to be hanging off me 24/7 like some teenagers today.”
Carla admits that other parents don’t agree with her ditching her teens but their opinions are of no consequence to her.

She said: “I couldn’t care less about the backlash I’ve had from this.
“People always say I’m such a bad mum and that I don’t support my children enough – or that I’m abandoning them.
“I will, of course, miss my kids and I’ll also miss a traditional roast dinner.
“But by the time I leave, they will both have had 18 years each of parenting and that’s quite enough.”
Carla, who believes the quality of life is “better” in Florida, has visited the state eight times in the past.
She says other families should follow suit and leave the UK, which is “going down the drain”, as soon as they can.
She added: “We are all entitled to live how we want.
“Parents need to let go of their adult kids and start their own lives again.
“I love new adventures.
“I’m never afraid to start over, as I always succeed – failure isn’t an option.
“America is the future, so other parents should pack up now and join us across the pond.”
