A UK-based couple has gained widespread attention for transforming vans into high-end mobile homes, going viral after showcasing an impressive hidden feature in one of their creations.
Cecile and Jose, the duo behind the project, unveiled their motorhome, named ‘Rocky,’ which boasts a cleverly concealed bathroom.
Their innovative design has amassed over 200,000 views on TikTok, where viewers are wowed by the transformation of what appears to be simple seating and a cupboard into a fully functional shower.

The popularity of ‘van life’ has surged in recent years, and the couple has capitalized on this trend with their unique and creative designs.
“Life in the city can be overwhelming, and many of us need moments to reconnect with nature,” Cecile, 46, explained to Luxury Travel Daily.
In a TikTok video shared by the couple, who run the brand Vanpuravida, Jose starts by removing what seems to be a cushioned seat, revealing the base of the hidden shower underneath.
He then opens a set of cupboard doors, pulling out a waterproof material that converts the space into a full-sized shower cubicle.
The hidden toilet is also tucked beneath, which Jose slides out when needed.

Known as ‘Rocky,’ this particular van was custom-built for a client who requested the unique hidden shower design.
Cecile expressed her enthusiasm about the project, saying, “This van has so many wonderful features. But the hidden shower is definitely one of our favorites.
It creates an incredible sense of openness inside the van, without a bulky shower interrupting the visual flow.”

After receiving the client’s request, the couple immediately began working on the concept and the van’s standout feature.
Cecile explained, “We often see clever ideas on social media, but the question of waterproofing always comes to mind. So, when our client asked us to hide the shower in the sofa and cupboard, we thought, ‘What a brilliant idea! Let’s bring it to life.'”
The couple started by designing the shower tray to fit seamlessly with the tambour spirals and the curved edges of the space, allowing for a custom solution.
The TikTok post has received tens of thousands of likes, with viewers leaving enthusiastic comments.
One viewer remarked, “This is incredibly clever and beautifully executed.”
