Britain’s best job is up for grabs… testing holidays for a year.

The role is unpaid but comes with a unique perk.

The successful applicant for the Chief Family Holiday Tester position gets £10,000 worth of free vacations across Europe.

The role will see one UK-based family whisked away on multiple trips to family-friendly resorts.

Applicants will be expected to test ice creams and sunbathing spots and be equally as good at rating waterpark slides as a late-night cocktail once the children are tucked up in bed.

And all flights, accommodation and meals are included.

The main rule is hopefuls must have at least one kid aged under 12.

It is a collaboration between family day out platform Day Out With The Kids (DOWTK) and holiday giant, TUI.

It wants a family to test and review TUI’s best family-friendly resorts.

The winning family will be expected to provide honest feedback, share social content and help understand what really matters to families when it comes to planning time away.

A Day Out With The Kids spokesperson said: “We want real families – the ones who pack snacks like pros, navigate kids’ clubs with confidence and rate a splash park just as highly as a sunset cocktail.

“Explorers, ice cream experts, pool-slide critics, parents who know the joy of an early breakfast and a rare, glorious lie-in.”

The role is open to UK-based families with at least one child under 12.

The job description states the candidates should be: “Full of personality and love family adventures.

“Confident creating content, photos, videos or short reviews.

“Happy to appear in DOWTK and TUI marketing with consent.”

The advert also reads: “The winning family will be sent on multiple paid TUI holidays across Europe over a 12-month period.

“You’ll test out family-friendly resorts and share your honest thoughts, from splash parks and kids’ clubs to food, entertainment, and beyond.

“It’s simple.

“First, head to the TUI website using the button on this page and find three hotels you’d love to stay at, one each in these price ranges per person:

“Under £500, £500–£1,000 and £1,000+

“Then come back here and fill out the entry form, including the names of the hotels you chose and a few questions about your family.

“We’re not looking for influencers, just real families who love to travel and can share their honest experiences with us in photos, videos or written feedback.”

Applications close on 4 August.
