In the mesmerising clip, the dolphins can be seen swimming right up to the divers, even playing with bits of seaweed, as Chelsea’s laughter and gasps of joy echo underwater.
The footage, filmed on 21 September in the Red Sea off the coast of Hurghada, Egypt, wasn’t shared online until four days ago – but has already racked up 1.2 million views, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Chelsea said, “It’s unbelievable how much pure joy you feel when you’re lucky enough to experience really special wildlife encounters.
“Time completely stopped when the dolphins were swimming around us.
“They were so curious and came to check out each diver.

“Some of them even played with seaweed while we were watching.
“After the dolphins left and swam on their way, we just thought ‘wow, this is the point of life, to experience moments like this’.”
The couple say they hope their video spreads the joy of the experience to others.

Another said, “The screams of joy are so real. What a cool dive!”

One fan commented: “Perfectly reasonable response, IMO!”
Another added: “This is magical and I’m so jealous.”
And a final viewer said: “Damn! My reactions would be just the same. What a beautiful encounter.”
