TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson has been curing her hayfever with a wacky and painful stinging nettle hack.
The 47-year-old has featured on the nation’s screens during her career on programmes featuring on CITV, CBBC and the BBC.
The former Milkshake and Countryfile presenter, like many others, suffers with extreme hayfever symptoms during the summertime.

With the pollen count soaring during the UK’s long-awaited heatwave, it is causing people all over the country plenty of irritating issues.
In an effort to cope with her hayfever, Naomi has started stinging herself with the nettles to stop her symptoms.
The wacky hack has enabled Naomi, from Bristol, to walk freely through nature this summer, as reported by What’s The Jam.
To help cure her hayfever Naomi collects stinging nettles and proceeds to rub and sting herself on the wrist and ankles.
Getting the idea online, the TV presenter is unsure as to the science behind the hack but the results have been astonishing.

Naomi said: “Stinging nettles are massively helping my hay fever.
“Obviously I am not a doctor so doing this at my own risk, but I am finding huge benefits, a remarkable change.
“Suffered with it all my life and I’m feeling very excited about potentially finding a remedy to the annual misery.

“I have tried everything, the nasal spray, eye drops, acupuncture armband, local honey, balm around my nose – everything.
“Nothing has worked like this, I feel different.
“I’ve done it on the inside of each wrist and on my ankle, not sure if it matters where.”
Fans were left shocked by her hack.
One said: “Nettle tea would be a less painful option.”
Craig Sayers added: “I’ve been doing this for years.”
Another stated: “The pain of the sting makes you forget the hayfever for a while.”
Jimmy Turner said: “I tried the stinging nettles yesterday, got the worst hayfever I’ve had in years.”
One other joked: “I’ve suffered for around 70 years, I’ve found the best cure is to clear off to the Canaries till it’s over.”
