Now, the 42-year-old has revealed the drink that could potentially target cancer cells – and two other beverages that can help lower the risk of the disease, reports What’s The Jam.
In the clip, which has racked up 4.7 million views and 89,000 likes, he starts off by listing green tea, specifically matcha.
“It is packed with antioxidants, like catechins,” the doctor, from California, US, said.
“Matcha is a concentrated form of green tea and therefore even more powerful.”
Next up: green smoothies.
He said: “Blend leafy greens, like spinach or kale, with cucumber, celery and a little ginger.
“It is nutrient-dense and anti-inflammatory.”
Dr Sethi’s favourite cancer-busting drink? Turmeric lattes.
He added, “Curcumin fights inflammation and has anti-cancer properties.
“I make mine with almond milk and a pinch of black pepper to boost absorption.”
