Burberry has been mocked for selling £690 rubber high heeled mules for looking like a “gardening shoe.”
The dark green shoe is only available to buy at Harrods.
They come with a 3.5-inch heel and are made of rubber material to resemble “rain boots.”
Inside, there is a quilted leather lining for comfort.

The bizarre footwear has a blue rubber Burberry logo on the front of the shoe – bearing a resemblance to Crocs charms.

The shoes, which were made in Italy, also have ‘Burberry’ imprinted on the soles.
The product description reads: “What do Burberry and Harrods have in common?
”Other than being the pinnacle of British luxury, both labels have their headquarters in London, England, a notoriously rainy city.

”In this exclusive offering, Burberry offers its Highland heeled mules in a rubber format that’s reminiscent of rain boots.

But fashion fans were horrified at the new release.

Shoppers were quick to poke fun at the footwear.
One person, called Justin, joked: “Doing the gardening, looking gorgeous.”
Lizzie Chase said: “No, just no.”
”More money than sense really,” fumed Pauline McRae.
Alison Whitchalo said: “Hideous.”
Linda Hebson said: “£690.”
”Apart from losing money, you lose any dignity you had aswell.”
