Peter Crouch says he WAS the huge ALIEN spotted on a hill in Brazil after locals poked fun at him.
Eyewitness Sara Dalete was hiking with her family when she spotted what she thought were space beings.
She claimed they were about 9ft 8ins (3m) tall.
Her sighting was on the Brazilian island of Ilha do Mel.

One local Marcio quipped: “Wow, Peter Crouch might not be able to go camping anymore.”
Beanpole Crouch, 42, – who stands at 6ft 7ins tall – responded: “We were on a family holiday.
“Please respect our privacy at this time.”
The ex-England, Tottenham and Liverpool striker has two daughters and two sons with model wife Abbey Clancy, 38 – who is 5ft 9ins.
Sara, of Brasília, had said it wasn’t possible to reach the hilltop where they were or communicate with them.
The government of Paraná State made light of the alleged sighting.
A spokesperson said: “Our summer is from another world.
“Even strange beings come here to enjoy our coastline.”
Fan Sam Kelly said: “Crouch has confirmed his place as the wittiest footballer of all time.”
Paul added: “You should be a comedian, sky’s the limit.”
A third said: “Crouchy doing the robot in Sao Paulo.”
