A comedian was left shocked when a fan DM’d him after sitting in the front row at his gig to complain about his bad breath.
Jamie H was performing a show at Hot Water in Liverpool, but got much more feedback than he bargained for.
The Manchester-based comedian was told he had bad breath by one of the audience members — who was in fact, a dental hygienist.

But, luckily the funnyman, full name Jamie Hutchinson, saw the funny side to the situation.
He shared a screenshot of the message quipping: “Messages like this make it all worthwhile.”
The message read: “Hiya mate, been debating whether to drop you this DM for a while because I love your stuff and don’t want you thinking am a d*ckhead.”
“No easy way to say this mate but I was at a show the other week on the front row.
“Well I’m a dental hygienist and I know halitosis when I smell it mate, could be nothing but I recommend getting a check up at the dentist mate for gum disease.”
Halitosis is otherwise known as bad breath.
The fan added: “I don’t want to be a p*ick but I had to say something don’t want you losing your teeth or it ruining your set lad
“Love your work, going to a Green Room live show soon can give you some floss.”
“I just woke up to that DM,” Jamie told What’s The Jam.
“I then got loads of different examples sent.”
Other fans couldn’t contain their laughter after the post-gig reaction on 19 July.
Ryan said: “If that’s a bit it’s f*cking brilliant.”
“Sometimes this type of refreshing message is all we need to see in our day,” said Naomi.”
Lucy quipped: “Getting a message like that is actually a good thing, we just shouldn’t take it the wrong way.”
“Took my breath away, this did,” joked Elliott.
“Why do “polite” put-downs always sound worse than aggressive ones? This is brutal,” said Sam.
