Simon Cowell has claimed there is “life on another planet” after a bizarre ‘close encounter’ over his garden.
The Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor judge was left stunned after spotting a mysterious object streaking across the sky above his home.
The 66-year-old grabbed his camera to capture the strange markings left overhead during the spooky sighting.

The incident happened at Cowell’s private home in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday (7 Apr), as reported by What’s The Jam.
Simon said: “I think I have just had a close encounter.
“Ok, there is life on another planet and here is proof.
“I am in our garden.
“It’s landing.

“Ok, we’re the first to see it.
“That is unbelievable.”
Footage shows a looping smoke trail in the sky above the TV star’s home.

Cowell looks on in amazement alongside his 12-year-old son Eric and fiancée Lauren Silverman, as they speculate about what it could be.
The clip racked up more than 16,000 likes, with viewers left stunned – though some suggested a more down-to-earth explanation.
