A Robbie Williams impersonator has revealed he is booked up for the next two years after the star’s biopic hit the big screen.
Ex-plumber Tony Lewis has spent the last 22 years working as a tribute act to the pop star
During his career, the 44-year-old has even been mistaken for the former Take That member by the likes of Liam Gallagher.

And amid the release of Robbie Williams’ biopic Better Man, which hit cinemas last month, Tony is set for one of his busiest years yet.
“They used a monkey because I wasn’t free,” Tony Lewis, from Leigh, Gtr Mancs, told What’s The Jam.
“I went to see Better Man at my local cinema and had loads of people double taking, thinking I was the real thing.
“When it was announced that a monkey would be playing Robbie, people at my gigs would ask me why I wasn’t approached – completely disregarding the process of the movie industry.
“During the build up to the film over Christmas my social media went crazy.

“I’m now looking at taking bookings for 2026 with every Friday and Saturday in 2025 fully booked.”
The former plumber’s career took off after he won a local pub karaoke competition in 2001, which opened the door to the world of tribute acts.
Tony even reached the final auditions to feature on the show Pop Idol where Simon Cowell was the only judge to say yes.

The 44-year-old – better known as ‘Tony As Robbie’ – now travels the world going to places such as Spain, Germany and Australia as Robbie.
He said: “From as early as 15 I had people telling me I looked like Robbie.
“I really related to him growing up, he was synonymous with the times – wearing Adidas trainers, going out drinking with the Oasis lot, getting all the girls.
“Even I questioned why he was being played by the monkey – but when I think about it, it makes sense.
“If it was an actor you’d be seeing the actor and not Robbie – it could also be a play on the chimp paradox.
“It blew me away – five minutes in you forget you’re watching a monkey, you’re just seeing a brilliant movie.”
