Radio DJ Sara Cox was allegedly stopped from entering a bar because she was eating an apple.
A bouncer appeared to ask the 50-year-old broadcaster to finish her healthy snack.
The bizarre ruling left her friend and co-host Clare Hamilton in stitches.

The pair, who run the Teen Commandments Podcast, were out on the town before they encountered the hold up.
Sara was reportedly denied entry into the Rupert Street Bar, Soho, Westminster, central London.

Upon entering the podcast host was asked to wait outside due to being armed with an apple.
The Radio DJ’s old friend watched on laughing from inside the bar as the bouncer asked Sara to eat the apple or bin it.
The hilarious footage shows the 50-year-old chomping on the fruit before getting into the bar.

Fortunately, Sara took the ruling well and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with the doorman whilst enjoying her fruit.
The clip was posted last Tuesday (10 Jun), as reported by What’s The Jam.
Clare Hamilton said: “Gone are the days where she gets kicked out of bars.

“Sara Cox actually couldn’t get in until she finished her apple.
“Who does that.”
The footage left members of the public in stitches.
Kimmy Lou said: “Who would be finishing that apple though.”

Karl Anderson added: “Coxy eating a coxy just cemented my intellect.”

One said: “Embarrased to her core.”

Another said: “This has been the case for years. You can’t go into bars or pubs with food or drink.”
