Men Behaving Badly star Caroline Quentin was left baffled and a bit spooked after she spotted a giant orange spider skittering across a pavement.
The TV favourite came across the fearsome-looking beast on the street.
Concerned the creepy-crawly might deliver a nasty nip, she asked a friend to film the encounter.

Caroline was in Chichester, West Sussex, where she starred in a stage production of The Seagull by Anton Chekhov.
Speaking to the camera, she said: “Walking through Chichester, I’m going to the theatre later.
“But I’ve just seen this spider on the floor and wondered if any of you knew what sort of spider it is.”
Fans quickly chimed in with their own horror stories, with many suggesting the creature was an orb weaver, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One said: “I had one of those drops from the sun visor of a car I was moving at work.
“I shot out of that car, didn’t get back in, couldn’t move it as I was so confident.
“What was worse, it was Halloween. I thought work would think I was taking the pish, but it was a genuine fear.
“It was the same colour and size.
“Probably the same spider.”
Another wrote: “I had exactly the same.
“It ran across my dashboard whilst I was on a dual carriageway, and I nearly died.
“Had a choice of hitting my brakes and being mowed down by a lorry or carrying on to work with my hairy passenger.
“I had to carry on to work and get one of my colleagues to search my car for it.
“Luckily, he got it.”
A third warned: “It may be harmless, but it does bite.”
One nature buff stepped in to clear things up.
They said: “A most beautiful garden orb spider.
“She is female and is probably searching for a safe place to spin a yellow nursery cocoon and lay her many eggs.
“She will stay with her nursery, protecting her eggs for a little while and not take any nourishment.
“Gradually, she will begin to shrivel and sadly die.
“A mother’s love prevails even in the spider world.”
