Kind-hearted Dan Walker took a WW2 memorial caretaker to church after befriending him when his tools were stolen
Ex-BBC Breakfast host came to the aid of Tony Foulds three months ago.
The 88-year-olds leaf blower, batteries and tools were pinched in July.

The pensioner tends to The Mi Amigo war memorial in Sheffield.
Walker, 47, put out an appeal and got replacements.
But Channel 5 newsreader and Classic FM DJ is still helping him by giving him a lift to church on Sunday (13 Oct).
He said: “Tony wanted to go to church so I went to pick him up
“He has lost hearing in his left ear at the moment but other than that he’s doing well.
“After the service he went for his signature drink of ‘fiddy fiddy’ – half tea, half coffee with three sugars.”
Fans hailed Walker for his kind act, as reported on What’s The Jam.
Howard said: “Cheers Tony. You’re a good man Dan.”
Frank added: “Well done Dan, you never forgot…. just like Tony never forgot those young pilots.”
Den added: “Heartwarming!! Such a lovely friendship.”
One said: “I love this friendship. Well done Dan.”
