David Beckham has been spotted enjoying a traditional pie and mash takeaway with two family members, said to remain close to his estranged son, Brooklyn.
The former England captain, 51, dropped into a pie and mash shop alongside his mother, Sandra Beckham and sister Joanne Beckham.
The family outing was shared by the business on social media, which posted: “Look who popped in yesterday for a takeaway.”
A photograph showed the smiling trio posing together after collecting their order.
The low-key appearance comes as the Beckham family’s long-running feud with eldest son Brooklyn continues to make headlines, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Brooklyn, 26, is reportedly still close to his grandmother, Sandra and aunt Joanne, despite his fractured relationship with parents David and Victoria Beckham.
Reports earlier this year claimed the pair were among the few relatives he had remained in contact with amid the family fallout.
The rift has dominated headlines for months, with Brooklyn previously speaking publicly about tensions within the family and insisting he did not wish to reconcile with his parents.
More recently, David and Victoria appeared to extend another olive branch on Father’s Day, sharing family photographs that included Brooklyn despite the ongoing estrangement.
The latest sighting is likely to spark fresh speculation among fans about whether Sandra and Joanne could eventually help bridge the divide between Brooklyn and his famous parents.
For now, however, it was pie, mash and family time on the menu for David and two of the relatives believed to remain closest to his eldest son.
