A mum who had a baby with a prolific sperm donor says she wants to use him again – and she doesn’t care that her child has 100 siblings.
Gabrielle and her partner, Kayla Gilbert, longed to start a family of their own.
As they are both female, the pair, aged 35 and 28 respectively, needed assistance to realise their dream.

The couple decided to use serial sperm donor Kyle Gordy’s services.
The 33-year-old was happy to oblige – and Gabrielle and Kayla soon welcomed their daughter, Kalani, who is now one year old.

And they want to go back for more.
“I think it’s so cool that Kalani has this amount of brothers and sisters already,” Gabrielle, a musician, told What’s The Jam.
“It’s so great that Kyle selflessly helps people have babies.

“Not everyone has the money to go to sperm banks over and over when it doesn’t work.
“He’s an asset to this world and a blessing to so many people, including us.”
After meeting Kyle for the first time, Gabrielle and Kayla immediately knew he was their father of choice.

Gabrielle said: “I didn’t want to go into this being blindly inseminated by a stranger.

“It would’ve been a gamble that we weren’t willing to take.
“With using a donor, we were able to find relief in the entire process knowing who we were choosing.
“Our search didn’t take long at all; as we found Kyle almost instantly.

“We started messaging and quickly built up a friendship.
“He ticked all the boxes for us.”
Gabrielle and Kayla, who reside in the U.S state of California, had no concerns about the process – only fears that it wouldn’t work.

In December 2022, they booked their insemination appointment, and within one week, they had a positive pregnancy test.
They had met Kyle just two months earlier.
Kayla said: “We were so happy.
“I couldn’t believe it.
“Now, we are overjoyed to spend each day with our daughter.
“There are no words to explain the level of happiness and gratitude we have for Kyle.

“Kalani has met Kyle and we’re also in touch with all the other parents of his kids, where we’ve gotten to know each other.
“It’s lovely being able to see Kalani’s brothers and sisters.
“I want to have another child and Kyle is our go-to choice again – and he will be every time.”
Kyle, who runs the website Be Pregnant Now, added: “I’m happy I’ve been able to help them start their family.
“I was honoured to meet Kalani, as it’s in the best interest of the child to connect with them as their biological dad.
“When they do want to move forward, I would be more than happy to help them with a sibling; no matter where in the world I’ll be at the time.”
