The customer was left in disbelief after finding a collection of cut-up human hair in the pockets, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They raced to the shopping app to question the seller about the unusual discovery.
In a message to the seller, they said: “Hey, so bit of a weird one, I’ve been wearing the jacket a few weeks and noticed yesterday the pockets are full of hair.
”Like cut up human hair.

They claim they bought the jacket from a vintage shop and had no idea the hair was in the clothes.
They replied: “That’s so embarrassing.
”I’m really sorry.
”I should’ve checked the pockets but I just didn’t think to because I’d never worn it.”
The customer accepted the apology and said: “It’s okay, it’s just super weird.”
The pair concluded the jacket must have been previously owned by a hairdresser.
The seller added: “I promise I don’t keep hair in my pockets.”
Other Depop users were left in stitches at the exchange.
One person, called Joanne Sheppard, said: “That is an old barber’s waistcoat!
”They’re made with loops and pockets to hold scissors and comb – I’m not surprised it was full of hair.”
Another person, called Rhiannon Hahn said: “Bro definitely got Sweeney Todd’s vest.”
Jess Kaemery joked: “Yeah no, I totally don’t keep human hair in my pockets.”
Mona said: “That jacket had better not belong to a serial killer.”
