Guinness lovers wince at the sorry sight of the black stuff served in boozers.

In the wake of St Patrick’s Day celebrations yesterday (17 Mar), some of the worst pints of the classic Irish tipple have been slammed.

Expert, Ian Ryan has become an online sensation after creating his social media page aptly named ‘Sh*t London Guinness’.

The author from Cork, Ireland, has been publishing the best and the worst of the black stuff since 2019.

His online persona even got him a shout-out on the Graham Norton show, after Fifty Shades of Grey actor, Jamie Dornan mentioned his love of the page.

From drinkers visiting street corner boozers to MPs having a jolly in the House of Commons bar, this page has it all.

One pint was reportedly served at the Round Table pub in Covent Garden, central London.

The Guinness was in an unmarked plastic pint glass with an overflowing head that left a lot to be desired.

At a whopping £6.30 a pint, lovers of the drink were left appalled by the poor state of the stout.

Two pints that are believed to have been served at the Someday bar in Finsbury Park, north London, were both off the mark.

“Finsbury Park has many good pints and Guinness and this is not one of them,” he said.

With little to no head and served in an unmarked glass the Guinness said to be poured at the Griffin Belle in Vauxhall, south London, hit a solid zero out of ten.

The pint cost £7.20.

Another disappointing serving of the black stuff was documented at Flight Club, Victoria, he claims.

The £6.20 pint had an overwhelming head and was a reminder to go to the venue for the darts and not the Guinness.

Two £5.50 Guinnesses reportedly poured at The Duke on Wood Street, east London, were served with little to no head.

The Guinness poured at the Strangers Bar at the House of Commons only cost £3.70.

Despite the refreshing price, the pint was once again disappointing, he said.

Other Guinness lovers pitched in with their own thoughts on the pints on display.

One stated: “That is a sin against everything right in this world.”

Another said: “You’d simply refuse to pay for it.”
