An influencer claims his Land Rover Defender was broken into and a £2,000 laptop stolen after leaving it parked for just 10 minutes.
Carmie Sellitto returned to find a rear window smashed and glass scattered throughout the luxury 4×4.
The 27-year-old had briefly stopped on what he described as a “really nice road” in Chiswick, west London, while dropping something at a friend’s house.

His laptop was taken from inside the vehicle during the daylight raid on 9 September.
Replacing the window and cleaning the broken glass from the Defender cost Carmie approximately £700, taking his total loss to around £2,700, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Footage filmed at the scene showed a large hole where the rear side window had been, with fragments of glass covering the seats and floor.
Carmie, from London, said: “Whoever smashed into my car and stole all of my stuff, I hope you’re having the worst day ever.
“I don’t know if it was targeted or anything because I only left my car alone for literally five to 10 minutes in London.

“All they took was a two-grand laptop.
“I’m not hurt, so it could be way worse than it actually is.
“Why did I trust London?”

A passer-by reportedly approached Carmie after the incident and handed him a note containing a description of someone they had seen.
However, Carmie did not report the theft to police because he did not believe officers would be able to help.
He said the speed of the break-in had left him feeling uneasy about driving and parking in the capital.
Carmie said: “Literally 10 minutes maximum.
“I was only dropping something off at my friend’s house.
“I genuinely think this kind of thing happens all the time, but because I was in a nice area, I didn’t even think twice about leaving my car there.
“It’s definitely made me think more about where I park and, if anything, it’s made me not want to drive my car around London.
“It makes me feel really uncomfortable knowing how quickly someone can break into your car and take something valuable.”
Carmie said it was not the first time he had been targeted by thieves.
“I’ve had tons of my stuff stolen, so honestly, it could be way worse.”
The clip has attracted more than 456,000 views and sparked a mixed response from social-media users.
Some viewers offered their sympathy, while others questioned why the expensive laptop had been left visible inside the car.
One person said: “Leaving your laptop in full view is wild.”
