A pilot has filmed a diamond-shaped ‘UFO’ darting among the clouds during a commercial flight.
The clip showed the dark object crossing paths with the plane in the overcast sky.
It started as a distant speck before resolving into a clear rhombus shape that appeared to travel in the opposite direction to the commercial jet.

Startled reactions could be heard on the cabin audio as the object glided past the cockpit.
The clip is going viral on X with nearly 50,000 views and dozens of comments, sparking debate among viewers.
The video was posted by Mexican UFO hunter ‘Extraterrestre’, who has a history of circulating videos sent to him by airline contacts.
He said it was recorded from the cockpit of a well-known Mexican airline and sent on to him.
Neither the pilot nor the carrier was named, and no aviation authority has issued a comment.

X users offered every explanation from an exotic drone to a weather balloon, with no official confirmation of what was actually spotted.
One local said it looked like “some sort of balloon.”
Another added that UFOs “don’t exist”.

A third joked that if it were real, it was filmed by “the stupidest person with trembling hands”.
It was not the first diamond-shaped object filmed from a Mexican cockpit this year.
A similar black craft was reported over Michoacán in July, again with no official explanation given.
Mexico has seen a run of sky mysteries in recent weeks, from lights over the capital to a glowing object photographed in Cerro Azul in Veracruz State.
