A pair of heroic cops have rescued a huge snake that was found coiled up inside a car engine.
A quiet suburb had an unlikely visitor after a giant boa constrictor was spotted slithering up a driveway.
One concerned resident quickly called the cops after watching the snake, which can grow up to 10ft, slip under a parked car.

The reptile was found in the engine bay after attending officers carefully lifted up the bonnet.
The shocking discovery was made on 11 Sep, as reported by Whats The Jam.
PC Dan Howard and Sergeant Joanna Stanbridge attended the address in Sherwood, Nottingham.
The pair quickly turned into emergency snake-wranglers and devised a plan to get the snake safely out the motor.
The duo fashioned a makeshift hook by taping a coat hanger to the end of a police baton.

The officers armed with the improvised tool and repurposed stab vest bag searched the engine before coaxing the snake out.
The rescue mission was a success with PC Howard retrieving the 4ft long boa constrictor with the help of Sergeant Stanbridge.
The snake was recovered into the stab vest bag and taken to a local vets for safekeeping while they try to locate the owner.

Chief Inspector Paul Hennessy, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This incident showcased perfectly the variety of different situations our officers can find themselves in when they start a shift.
“While I doubt any of them will have had snake wrangler listed among their skill set before, the officers did a great job thinking on their feet in the manner they did.
“Having heard a large snake had slithered under a vehicle and into the car’s engine bay, they managed to create a makeshift snake hook which they then used to coax the animal out from its hiding place.
“Their actions ultimately resulted in the 4ft-long boa constrictor being safely retrieved from the car engine without coming to any harm, which was good to see.
“As I say, this was just the latest reminder that, in policing, no two shifts are ever the same!”
