A guest was left shocked after a large cleaning robot entered their hotel room and began scrubbing the surfaces unannounced.
Video footage shows the robot, equipped with a mechanical arm, methodically cleaning the room before neatly storing the spray bottle back in its compartment.
The futuristic encounter took place at the newly opened All Seasons Hotel in Suzhou City, China.

Hotel staff confirmed the machine is still in the testing phase and not yet in full operation.
At the moment, it only performs auxiliary cleaning tasks with human workers checking its progress and completing the job when necessary.
A hotel spokesperson told local media: “We started testing it recently.
“It hasn’t been officially rolled out… the robot is just for assistance.”
Online reactions have been mixed.

Some users welcomed the innovation for greater hygiene and convenience while others questioned its pace.
One local said: “Finally! No more worrying about whether the cleaning staff touched everything properly. This is the future.”
Another added: “It looks cute but it’s so slow… I’d rather pay extra for a human cleaner who can finish in 15 minutes.”

The robot forms part of growing trials of service automation in Chinese hotels.
Companies such as Pudu Robotics have deployed similar models, including the CC1 Pro, in hospitality settings for floor cleaning and waste detection using AI.
Pudu is developing what it describes as the world’s first fully robot-serviced hotel on West Artificial Island along the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, due to open in 2027.
That property will use robots for reception, luggage, room service, food delivery and more, as reported by What’s The Jam.
For now, the All Seasons Hotel in Suzhou continues limited testing.
Guests may encounter the robot during their stay, but human supervision remains standard.
