A right-hand drive version of the G 55 was off the menu for most, with Mercedes-Benz and AMG bending the rules for a VIP.
Despite being 21. years old, the ride is in fantastic condition, with just 143 miles on the clock – averaging just over six miles a year.
The G 55 is kitted out with a roaring 5.4-litre supercharged V8 engine, producing around 476 horsepower, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The car can shift from naught to sixty in just 5.5 seconds and possesses a top speed of 130mph.
The custom motor is finished in an eye-catching Goldophin Blue paintwork over Mystic Blue designo leather interior.

The original owner retained the G 55 until 2024, with RM Sotheby’s now hosting the sale of the car.
Located in Chobham, Surrey, the Mercedes has an asking price of £100,000.

However, the new buyer will need to pay for applicable VAT and import duties to keep the motor in the UK.

The vehicle originally entered the country on a temporary import bond – with the buyer either paying to keep it here or paying to have it exported.
A spokesperson for RM Sotheby’s said: “Although a right-hand drive G 55 was seemingly off the menu for the vast majority of paying customers for a six year period, this didn’t mean that both Mercedes-Benz and AMG wouldn’t bend the rules for a VIP client.

“This represents a truly remarkable opportunity to purchase an as-new twenty-year-old G-Wagen, one with royal provenance and prototype history, and as such it would surely stand out from the crowd wherever it goes.”
